A decade later, Autoquip recognized the need for robust lifts in other industries and applied their design and manufacturing expertise to industrial material handling equipment. By the 1960’s, Autoquip had become a recognized leader in the material handling industry and sold its interests in the automotive service & repair lift business.

In 2002, after enjoying 40 years of success as a custom solutions provider in the material handling industry, Autoquip recognized the need for high quality, American-made parking lifts, and returned to its roots to begin manufacturing vehicle lifts for both residential and commercial applications. The engineering and manufacturing experience Autoquip has accumulated over decades of providing heavy industrial equipment is now being leveraged to also provide standard and custom designs for residential subterranean parking lifts, multi-level vehicle lifts for commercial parking garages, vehicle display lifts and turntables, and powered access ramps for residential and commercial parking garages.

Autoquip has its worldwide headquarters and state-of-the-art 175,000 square foot factory located in the heartland of America, and has built its 60-year old reputation on providing the highest quality lifts that are backed by the best warranty and the highest level of customer service in the industry.
